Some of our ladies in Lindisfarne Newton Aycliffe went out to lunch last week. Although they enjoyed the food they enjoyed reminiscing about their childhoods and how times have changed even more. The conversations were sparked by the milk for the tea's being served in a small glass milk bottle the way it used to be when they were at school.
Other residents chose to remain at Lindisfarne for afternoon tea in the 'tea room'. Everyone enjoyed a cream cake and a cup of time and spent time re-calling how they used to regularly visit their favourite tea rooms.
